Security Question

Where do I buy security Equipment? I started the game yesterday and just updated. I've looked through a few furniture stores and I'm not seeing where to buy any of it?

Not sure if it's a bug David, but I had 2 of the security panel things (whatever they're called) that you put at the entrance. and the security rating was initially 100% - this was for a small 75m gift shop. But it then went down to somewhere in the 80's. Is the rating supposed to decrease over time? This was only after 2-3 days as well.

The security stuff seems all kinds of buggy...I had my store at 70ish security, added 2 cameras and it dropped to 51%? Not sure what is going on. All my Security guys are trained at 100%, have like 5 normal cameras, 2 dome cameras, 2 metal detectors, 4 dont steal signs and yet loosing like 7k worth of product (i have a gift store that sells everything lol)

Make sure you're looking when the guards are actually on duty. When they are off duty, they don't count toward the stats.

Its not that. if you don't have security for the entirety of your store being open it will drop when they're off duty etc. i run my store 24/7 so i tend to keep around 9 security guards at my jewelery store.

def not. if it got really popular you'll get more traffic. you need to hire a bunch of guards. and add them in 1 by 1 and see how quickly it drops.

I got a problem with my jewelry store -20k'ish $ theft per day, security 97%, 4x 100% security guards, added 10 more cameras. Drops to 41% when the shop is closed. Is it a bug that the game thinks the shop is still open?

i got 5 Eyeballs and 4 Regular Cameras 2 Pannels at the door 4 Guards in a 24H shift and only got 54%. How can i raise the securty level? did i miss something?

I dont like the security implementation at all. For example fast food restaurant or haidressers or nightclub who and why on earth would steal french fries or hot dog or a beer? It is not a shelf it is in my staff zone. Only employees could steal that in real life... I have 3 guards on 90% and I have all 10 jewelery cases monitored and also I have the frame detector twice at each door and my jewelery shops have security like 50-55%? This is some heavy BS...

Theft doesn't happen while the store is closed. So, it dropping to 41% when it's closed it irrelevant.

What is the skill level of your guards? And to confirm, do you have 4 guards at the same time? Or just one at a time and it rotates through 4 guards total?

Same question for you - 3 guards total? or at the same time? If you only have 1 at a time, that makes sense for jewelry.

How many guards for a M1 Jewelry store then? I got 8 security guards at the same time atm and plus like 30 cams, still i get robbed

do i also have to place cameras in the storage room?

edit: Nvm. I doubled the guards from 4 to 8 and put cams into storage area, that seems to be the trick.

The Guard are at 100% and my store jewelry is for 30 customers. its open 24/7 and the guards are on a 6 h rotation every day.so only one security locker. i got the 4 jewelrycases now each one under 1 eyeball camera and one wall mounted. this got me to 60%. do i need more guards? it isn a realy big store. two guards whould be ovberkill this isnt a mall.

The thief are too much active (and illogic) in the game, i know in the real world of today they have theif everywhere,

i have make some test with the game, i have a gift shop and two security panel neer the door, and the parasite thief are able to steal neer 3/5 of my stuff by day, even if they have no customer in the market i can view the number of my thing in the shelve going down,

and i view too when a customer enter in my market, the thing in the shelve going down even if they have no people around the shelve in the end of the market,

i lost neer 3000$ by day for a small market, (low gift, high gift, cola, hight value flower and lower value flower), i have trying to add wine, but the parasite thief steel between 5 and 20 bottle of wine by day, sometime more,

What is giving to put security panel if the thief can steal all the thing in your market and go aways with it?,

it's just if i can survive with the thing i sell, not able to make more profit with the thing i sell because the parasite can steal more than the 1/4 or 1/2 of my stuff by day, and i am not sure if they can steal even in the backstore...

The security thing give too much lost, it's not pleasant to play the game like this with the city full of ninja thief..., i put the key under the door and stop trying to have a market...
