Yes you can sell what ever you want but when your item is labelled for your business it will sell better.
You can try to decorate your shops, invest in new buildings, walk in the park etc.
Not actually, there is only El Gato
About what to do if you're not skipping, it's up to you to find something interesting, as I said earlier if you try to design your shops it's gonna be really time consumming
Thanks for the answers.
as for not having anything to do, there are no real activities in the game yet. there are some on the roadmap. you have to remember that its very early access so the game only has the bare bones features available.
I think you can go on a casino boat trip on Friday nights at the docks, but, its a $5000 cover charge just to get in. that's really all there is at the moment.
but its a good question for real life. if you had a bunch of money and people working for you, what would you do and would you want to do those things in a video game?
P.S.
I stopped the tutorial at the part where I'm told to open a fast food joint. People have been saying it's a terrible second business so focused on moving to a larger store for my gift shop, sold the old building, and bought another with 100% Demand for cheap and expensive jewelry. Currently building that up, then my HQ.
I pass time with a 4 hour gaming session in my appartement on my gaming computer.
Drive around town and try to improve my damage for each round around town.
When you drive around, you might find some place you haven't been to yet (underground parking lot?) :)
Sometimes I do shifts for employees who fell ill.
Leave open 1 job/shift in my own store/restaurant to work
At first I also thought this fast-food thing is a waste of time and money. But similar like a gift shop, by expanding the shop with soda and expensive gifts (which the tutorial highlights) you need to do the same with your fast-food store on your own. Try adding selling soda, hotdog, french fries even salad to your fast-food store and it will make more money as your gift shop in the end. Also having 2 shifts in your fast-food store is more profitable compared to adding a shift to the gift shop. Or at least I experienced that with my shops.
