Yeah I'm also starting to get aggravated by how rigid the "tutorial" / story is...
Now, At least on my side (but I played already a good 60 days in game, so maybe other shops have closed), the other gift shops are located in higher value / revenue neighborhoods.
Also they only sell EXPENSIVE gifts (caps for emphasis, not shouting).
Eraly game you sell CHEAP gifts.
So those shops sell indeed expensive gifts at $52, while I still sell them at default price of $48
But the "double" you see is most likely due to the fact it's cheap gifts. Those sell $20 default for me.
Ok, so it seems it's somewhat randomized I guess... I only have 2 other gift shops, and none in the "poor" area where I am.
I think it's just something the devs havn't gotton around to properly referencing, if that's the right term.
Sure, but when you walk your character into one of those shops and put your mousecursor onto one of the shop's displays selling gifts, what price does it show you? Actually take your character in there as if you're checking out the "opposition".
But I had only shops that were selling expensive gifts. none were selling cheap gifts, so I could not give you cheap gifts prices from opposition.
Ah sorry bud i thought you were just quoting the market value as presented in the bizman thing. So your values are different then. How odd. So does that price reflect or is at least close to the market price?
