Import index
What does it mean? i see that expensive jewelry is in high demand in midtown but it has an import index of 1.1 where as other products with the same demand have a 1.4 or 1.5 index

Low index means prices are cheaper, high means more expensive. So low index, high demand will (in theory) give you the best revenue. In practice there isn't much need to worry about this, but if you want to min-max and have the capitable/warehouse space to do so you can buy extra low and pause orders when it's high.
