You can find best max prices for each district in this document below. (They are to the right of the sheet.)

I know most of people think that this is a cheat but i also understand that some people don't have enough time to experiment around to find the ideal prices.
That said, if you wanted to do it yourself, you could do this by changing the price of an item to something high, looking to see if customers complain and then lowering it accordingly. It's per item, so if one item is wrong it will tank the index the next day, albeit I think customer complaints are instant in-store.
i will however fight anyone to death over the name of the document because on the discord it's called the cheatsheet and even has its own little custom !cheatsheet command
Best profit doesn't have to be at 100% price satisfaction. Even though it could. There are two functions/curves and you are looking for their intersection. But you can perfectly triangulate it by simple trial and error. Luckily customers in this virtual world aren't moody.
While at that, you can enter prices directly in those fields. Decimal ones as well. Nothing wrong about typing in 52.5 or anything.
