Training
I've taken to training my employees up to 100% and putting them "on the bench" while I'm setting up the next business. Unfortunately, they seem to be taking that less than optimally as their satisfaction drops off a cliff.

Can a "holding" company be created or can employees who are unassigned and training be treated as though they're at least employeed at their preferred level (full-time/part-time)? I'd be okay with the part-time trainees only gaining skill at half the rate as long as they don't threaten to quit.

A "holding" company would be great so I can allocate employees to the new businesses as needed to fill out my schedule (something the HR manager is supposed to do, but manages to screw up literally every time I've tried, so I have to do manually).

Supposedly HR can train them (slower). Though I haven't figured it all out. I have a bunch of people set to their roster and yet they are losing happiness and will quit eventually.

HR Managers can train up to 10 employees slowly. There's a slider for how high they should
train the employees, the default it up to 50%. The employees can continue working while they are being slowly trained this way.

As for "happiness" of employees, check to see what they want. Are they full-time or part-time, do they have some other requirements. If they are part time don't forget to reduce their hours, otherwise they'll be unhappy.

Do they need to be placed somewhere? I just have them sitting waiting to be sent to a sick persons spot. I have them linked to the HR manager so they can use them when someone's out. Thanks for feed back in advance. I tried looking but to no avail.
