There are 2 types.
1. One is from Wholesalers, Like NY Distro, Hudson Wholesale, Total Produce Trading, and Metro Wholesale. They show up on Voogle Maps under the 'Special Buildings => Wholesale Store' toggle switch. They are a light Cyan color. These stores can do a delivery to your buildings.
You can set up the delivery by 1st going to the Wholesale store and setting up a contract (Once you visit the wholesale store the first time, you can call them for future contracts).
Next you need to open up your business in BizMan and click the Deliveries Tab. Under that tab, you will see any Contracts you have set up with Wholesale Stores.
Delivery in those is by number of boxes .. one item per line. Delivery is made once a week on the day you set. Limit 20 boxes total and an added cost of $400 for the deliver on top of what the warehouse charges.
You can schedule as many deliveries as you want by changing the 'Delivery Day'. If today is Monday, you can use an existing contract, change the Delivery Day to Tuesday and get those boxes delivered at 2 minutes after midnight early Tuesday morning for $400 (Plus the cost of the items).
If you want more stuff also delivers (maybe you forgot something or you need more that 20 boxes of stuff, etc) .. then you can set the deliver day to Wednesday (since it is now Tuesday) and set up only the boxes you want delivered after midnight on Wednesday morning.
This means, if you wanted, you could pay $400 per delivery and get 7 deliveries on one week for each Wholesale Store, if you wanted to do that.
2. The second way you can deliver items to your businesses is by using Purchase Agents, Logistics Managers, and Warehouse Drivers and your own Offices, Warehouses and Trucks to do the deliveries.
I will not describe that wholw process here, but the main differences are that these are nightly deliveries and they are not Boxes of items but Individual items that are delivered.
These type of deliveries are NOT controlled in Deliveries Tab of your Business .. they are instead controlled in the Logistics Manager section of the building where the Logistics Manager that controls the delivery warehouse sits during the workday.
3. In both delivery cases, you need to ensure you have space .. IN THE STORAGE SHELVES .. to hold all th items (or boxes). Once the items all go into the storage, only then are they stocked on the store floor. This means empty shelves on the store floor do not provide room for delivered items.
Thank you to everyone that replied, I figured it out in the end, I didn't realize there was a small arrow I needed to click to show the stock! My bad 😅
Also a note to the devs, you guys are the true definition of amazing developers. Your game is easily the best in the genre imo! It's polished to perfection, the UI is perfect, the tutorials/objectives are informative and easy to follow (apart from my stupid mistake of not seeing the arrow but I take fulk accountability for not seeing it😅)
Keep up the good work! There's a lot of devs that need to take note
