Silly question, I just started today. My newest employee has a want of "Full Time Employee" , I mean she's working the whole day, how is that not full time? Or am I missing something?

Please help me.

Full time means 30-50 hours. Above 50 hours will be too much.
You can see it if you go to MyEmployees, open the employee and then move the mouse over the "full time" request.

You can even exploit the 'full time' option. I have my gift shop open from 12 until 19. Which means for 7 hours and this every day of the week. Meaning 1 Full time employee keeps my shop running every day of the week and work 49 hours and she's happy about it :)
Would be cool if you can look for full time and part time employees.

I really like six days a week for my gift shop. This frees me up completely on Monday, to order, and run errands.

My 49 hours per week full time employee is 6 x 8, for 48 hours. I have them working 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesday through Sunday. This allows me to work 5 pm to close, six days a week, or thirty hours per week. I have found that more hours than that, with running around, blows him up on his energy.

My employee runs the gift shop completely on its own... my own character is not doing anything, so plenty of time to run around and do errands.

NO! WRONG!! BOTH OF YOU!!! This game is not called 'Worker Exploitation Simulator' for nothing! Apart from the headquarters staff, all my other staff work 7 days a week, with most retail stores open 15 hours a day (typically 09:00-24:00)!!

MWAHAHAHAHA!!! *insert evil laugh emoji cos there isn't one...*

On a more serious and helpful note... so long as full-timers' hours are less than 50 and part-timers' are less than 30, they are perfectly happy working every day!

Devs... please don't nerf this!! *insert begging/praising emoji cos there also isn't one...*

I want the seven customers per hour between 8 am and noon. So long as the revenue covers the costs, you get extra profits.

You're not covering more than 1/3rd of the hours in the week..which would be 56.

Two full time employees gives you 98 hours per week, which is 14 hours per day. 10 AM to midnight is perfectly fine for two full time workers. One works the 10 am to 7 pm shift, the other works 7 pm to midnight.

If you want a third full time employee, you can cover all hours except midnight to 3 am..which is perfect for your cleaning crew.

Thank you for all the answers, by the time I posted, I saw my shop was only open 3 days a week. So I'm an idiot that can't think for himself. Sorry for being such a time waster.
