I ended up closing my law firm cos it was always in the red!

Demand is pretty much the same in all 4 regions for it (mid 30's) :steamsad:

Same goes for programming actually.

Like the devs said. It has to do with competence and salaries.

You need to GREATLY increase the Law fees (as long as your employees are at 100% skill, you can raise that price up several times higher!)
GunRunner89X Mar 12, 2023 @ 7:12am
And here I was increasing the price by 50%.

Actually, when it comes to hiring people; it'd be nice to have a kind of extra filter for skill competence- higher skill would mean higher salary, but would require less training.

Or alternatively/concurrently, better ways to train employees - quicker training = higher cost or something along those lines?

Yay? Nay? May? Hay? Bay? Say? Pay? Clay? Pray?

... I'll sh'up now.

I can 100% agree, I'd like a skill level filter at the recruitment agency. I'd also like a filter for other qualities, mainly Full-time/part time. Maybe we can pay extra for these filters? I spent like 3k to find a part time cleaner cause repeatedly I got full time employees.

That's a good point - my bad. I had figured people wouldn't click on a thread about the most profitable business without wanting to know the spoiler, but I have spoiler tagged it now!

You've just given me an idea for new business types: Bars/Pubs & Restaurants (non-fast food obviously). Was going to say Hotels too, but the buildings don't have the floor space for Hotels... Maybe Gyms though? Cinemas/Theatres? Appliance & Furniture Stores so you can put them current lads out of business!! And then of course, stri...... *cough*

Forget that last one, yeah..... :steambored:

So egregious price gouge legal services just like real lawyers do!
JustinOb Mar 12, 2023 @ 10:34pm
My Lawyer fees are sitting at $800 an hour with 10 staff and everything is at 100% except for traffic is only 10%... Making about $5,000 daily but if my office was in a traffic area of 40% im sure id be making $20,000+ daily.

I have a massive clothing store with probably 50+ racks, 4 checkouts, max advertising, and all max employees making between 130-160k a day.

With everything I've tried, this clothing store brings in the most so far. It's open 16 hours a day 7 days a week
