driving the car

i hate how to walk/drive around!
sorry to say that that way. but i don´t play games where I have to navigate vehicles, because I suck. and here the same! I need a whole day to receive my shop because the vehicle is going crazy!! and the traffic around me doesn´t move. means, I am stuck though the others could drive away and give me some room. I have already difficulties running.

but I really like to build the shop! I love all the possibilites already and I am curious about becoming bigger and bigger. I really hope there will be a solution. maybe a delivery service I can pay, so i don´t have to do the shopping tours?

Sorry to hear that, the demo doesn't include the part where you get the warehouse which distributes the goods to your stores so that's in the game.

To me, before I get the warehouse I drive like a maniac, you will also get new cars quite early which will make you be able to load up to 104 stuffs into the van.
You will also have shelves so you can stuck hundreds of stuffs in the store, so even if you can't afford the warehouse you'll have stocks for 10+ days just by one trip.

A little pro tip for you kiddo.. SLOW DOWN! don't have to go round the city fast!

Just because you struggle with something and cant/wont push yourself to improve on it don't come crying about it (unless its a bug/glitch)

Was that really necessary?

I drive around fast and don't obey normal driving laws (ie driving on the wrong side of the road or on sidewalks). Thankfully car damage isn't a thing yet.. I've probably racked up millions of car damage already. Traffic does need a tweak and I'm sure the developers are working on that - I know of at least one aspect they are working on.

To the OP - warehouses cut down your drive time a lot. Deliveries are coming in the future which potentially could avoid any driving needed (I don't know for sure).

The driving needs to be improved but not removed!! If driving is removed anymore it will drive people away from the game. (but they have vehicle DLCs in line that many people have already paid for) so no they will not remove driving fully so again the OP and others need to get good or slow the hell down!

When i started playing i also use to drive around fast with no care, crash into things.. but i didn't come cry about it on here because that's a my issue not a game mechanic fault!

For the OP to "hate this" over something the OP can fix him/herself - YES TOTALLY NECESSARY

This is just a feedback for how I feel about playing it. I am pretty sure I am not the only one having problems with that kind of navigaton and than might not play it. That´s my whole intention.

Op your missing the point. This game is about more than just business otherwise it wouldn't distinguish itself from others. If they got rid of it they might as well kiss a huge chunk of their customers goodbye. You can get by with taxis and subways and later deliveries but you can't make the perfect game to please everyone.

i think it should be an option to manually drive or have a "self driving" car option (like a tesla or something). i dont play these kinds of games to drive. i like to build economies and for players like me driving is a detraction from enjoyment. each to their own, but there should be the option.

I like the demo, looks like it's shaping up into an interesting game. But please can the Dev add an automatic driving option or similar? I really am not interested in trying to master the nuances of zooming around the city using WASD, but I accept that some people are - could the player be allowed to choose please?

Auto parking is in the latest beta, it comes with the most expensive vehicles.

Thats not a bad idea - Tesla self driving cars. I'd be too impatient for it myself as I run lights and go around traffic all the time lol. I know one of the future updates is set to improve traffic/ vehicle handling (next one I think).

Is it the most expensive? I'm not sure if it is. Either way I don't like how it handles. The auto park is nice, but I sold it pretty quickly. I'd pay a lot extra to have auto park on a truck or even a van.

Not anymore, you're correct. It used to be, but now there are a more options.

Either way, make sure you test out beta 5. Vehicle handling has gotten a major overhaul, including finally actually getting brakes that work. Some vehicles handle better than others now and feel much more responsive.

Of course if you crash the vehicle, you now have to pay for damages, so be careful!

Just so you know, you can take a taxi or ride the subway. You also can order deliveries now for both inventory and furniture/appliances. Using these things, plus your in-game phone, you could theoretically completely avoid driving in the game.

I also suck at driving using wasd, though I know lots of people enjoy it. In the demo I just parked the car and ran around the city with my hand truck. I would support some kind of auto driving option, even with some increased cost. Maybe let me hire a driver, it would still take my time (maybe more time since it is safer/slower) and perhaps cost extra money. This would still allow driving to have a benefit, while allowing those that don't want to an escape.
