How to Parry?
Hey I bought the game and I just need some guidance on the combat. I understand I have to swing my weapon and collide with an enemies attack but is there a certain way I have to hold the weapon? Am I not swing hard enough? Or do I need to chain parties to put an opponent into stagger state?

You kinda just have to build a little momentum and swing earlier. I thought it was impossible at first but you also have to read attack patterns and you'll get it down. Depending on your position and weapon sometimes flicking works.

So I have to predict when the A.I. is gonna attack and then build up momentum before hand?

Attacks are telegraphed, pay close to attention to their movement.

That much I know, it's the building up momentum to successfully Parry I have an issue with. Not to mention, even though there telegraphed, Some attacks just come way too fast for me.

Oh yeah I agree, the attacks are.. kind of unpredictable, yet telegraphed. I don't like it either, but perhaps it's something you get used to over time.

for the parry you have to full force swing, like your aiming to kill

In the starting area to the left of the board where you can purchase abilities, you can spawn enemies to practice with. You can also spawn any weapons you've purchased by clicking around their picture in the upper right. Use the skeleton to practice.

You have to do a full blown swing at their weapon while they're attacking you. If you ball up your hand into a fist you can even do it barehanded. Doing it successfully against that skeleton will cause it to fall apart and make a sfx. GL.
