Dungeons are now their new mode called "Challenge" mode. Basically an endurance test to see how far you get. You unlock new abilities, find new weapons, etc. etc. And hope you dont die before reaching the end.
I much prefer the old version, but this newer one is still ok. I still get to bash goblins and skeletons in the face.
They recently released another update adding more content post-challenge mode and a couple of more weapons.
I say the game is worth it. Devs seem to care to continue improving the game.
Edit:
Apparently Sandbox has "Adventure" mode which brings back the beloved dungeon crawling they removed. So there's that.
can we go back to another version like in Blade and Sorcery ?
if the main story and challenges are too frustrating since the last update i think i will wait than devs take care of this
Not sure how to answer the main story being hard or not. Since I've progressed far enough to the end-boss before the update, it kept my progress.
But based on the fight with the final boss, I haven't beaten the game yet. I think I might be missing something because the fight is extremely hard for me as the Boss is a bullet sponge.
Idk, I'll leave this one in the air, I think I'm messing something up.
