Severe arena stutters

I hear people praise the optimization of the game but I experience very bad stutters in the arena levels whenever a new enemy spawns. Any way to fix that or am I stuck with it?

Not having issues myself. Have you installed the game on an SSD?

Yes, I also saw this response on other discussions when someone had some problems with performance so I thought there is something else.

here's some solution might fix stutters:
1. try startup with oculus: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1331510/discussions/0/3834298505962962601/
2. disable space wrap if using VD
3. if still happened, please wait for the next update, and turn the fov to 60

If you're on Quest v54 then it might not be a game problem. Wi-Fi is broken with v54 so you're getting network lag. It's fixed with v55 which is on the public test channel now

i monitored the task manager graph and i see SSD usage spikes whenever it freezes.

That actually might be my SSD dying cuz Pavlov also cause the SSD to fo 100%.
