Still haven't fixed the save files problem. Please don't play this further until they did.
I posted a few days ago saying I lost 10 hours of progress since release, now it's 15.

I played for a few hours yesterday night, thinking that after the hotfixes I can take another chance. I was stupid.

Last save file was at 5am-ish and today when I opened the game again the progress on campaign went back to a day ago.

Steam wouldn't process my refund because I'm way past the time limit, but since you can't save your game anyway, there's no reason to progress any further, I enjoyed it only to have it thrown back into my face that everything I made is forfeit.

Support said they're working to fix it, but apparently it's an empty promise. Talk about ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a gamer's enthusiasm for your game and all your future products.

Exactly where I am right now.
Played for approx. 10 hours, lost all progress.
Ignored the game for two days due to frustration, started a new save and for another two or three days it worked just fine (except for one major bug but whatever, it somewhat worked anyway).

Then, after yesterday's update my two hour progress was gone again (though not as regrettable as the whole 'progress vanished completely' ordeal)

I really want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but damn...

Knowing full well that this might happen again, I even took screenshots yesterday night with timestamps on steam to prove that this is a problem.

I'm honestly livid. I followed their house flipper games and was blindly trusting of this game.

same. There's quite the tangled web of developers and publishers going on here what with Petard, Gameformatic, Frozen Way, Frozen District, Play Way, Empyrean etc... and I have a huge percentage of their titles because I enjoy sim type games, and often quite niche ones. Like this one.

But I will never buy another title from any of them again after this debacle.

I actually just went ahead and uninstalled this game (I too spent too many hours to refund it back, not spending any disk space on it anymore).

I too have had issues with the save files, one time in the past, I lost an hour of gameplay, but then the update brought it back. Scary to think that your progress can be tied to a bug.

But now, the game won't even load up for me anymore, which started to happen sporadically two patches ago. Now, it just refuses to load. I even turned down the graphics all the way to Low (in case it was my computer not being able to load it properly), and no dice.

Too many super-gamebreaking bugs for me in such a short span of time from when it was 'published'. I think if it had been released as an Early Access game, it would have gotten more slack--as you don't expect a polished product. But sad I spent money on a game I can no longer play (and, with my frustration, I now refuse to play it).

I had the same issue when I played this game at the first week, I tried loading into the saves and I never get loaded in (I let them run 20 mins or so), I had never been so anxious about my game not saving since what, the 2000s?

I reached out for help too and was told the hotfixes would fix that. No it didn't, I had to load in an earlier save and lost progress for my main save. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help either.

After that I just frantically clicked the save button after each work day. And as we know, It didn't work in the end.

I have this issue since yesterday. got stuck 2 times in loading screen when finised the day. needed to reset, and ofcourse no save. Than ..after playing some time again...the game crashed, and i needed to restart my pc, this time, almost all my saves were gone, only the once left are from hours before.

Played a bit yesterday unaware of the issue, as i did not have time to follow all the news etc... Progress is not saved ;/
So yeah, can confirm it doesn't work properly. Hope they are going to fix it soon as there is not point playing it now, like author of the topic said.
Checked today, cannot even start a day....

After some back-and-forth, devs said they were unable to restore my hours of game saves but claims to have identified the issue.

Conclusion is, play at your discretion. but I'm not spending any more time on this.

I can't believe it, I have the same bug, it's the first time I've seen a the save file not working....

Our testers have rechecked and both the manual save and autosave options are working. Does the issue still occur on your end after downloading the game's latest update?
