Can someone explain the ending? "spoilers"

So thats so rushed that im more surpised they didnt do a "to be continued" right at the boss fight.

So cicero just commits suicide, you leave your mecha arm there for reasons??? and the cat girl who we thought was dead isnt dead.

why? why to all of the above? Why does Q need all of the spark crystals? Why do all the crystal demons exist if the spark was GIVEN to animals? Where did the robot people come from? Are they just robots, or people inside robots? Why does nobody really care about the robot people "conquering" everyone? Why did they even let cicero join them he was killing them before?

this story legit makes no sense and feels like they made the game first, then forgot a story had to go with it.

I second the question because what I got is more like a "false" ending you get without achieving some conditions for the true, more graceful one.

That and Cicero is painted as the "Bad Guy", but the story smacks hard of the strawman has a point trope because his motivations are explained and understandable, but "Lady Q" doesn't have an argument for why the sparks shouldn't be used other than they MIGHT be misused, and Rayton just doesn't have an argument at all, just allot of gut reactions, and appeals emotion.

It almost feels like the story was an afterthought to the overall game which was only towards the upper end of mediocre at best.

All in all, a disappointing end to an all around average game.
