Bugs, Glitches and many Ideas
Good day Mana Potion Studius,
I played your game Becastled for almost 10 hours and it's nice. A simple strategy building game with good details and unique simple animation style. But this game has potentiol to be even greater, I want that this game be even better one and that's why I fought very much for good Idias. I also found bugs and glichtes that are unnecessary. Unfortunately I can't make show pictures in a Steam discussion.

Glichtes:

- Sometimes, a few of my Soldiers just walks without walking, they standing still and moving at the same time.
- When workers transport ressources like wood, stone and gold. They transform into boxen when I use the ingame time freeze button.
- In the upgrade system of the troops in the right corner, the sentences are all almost mixed up in very small space and that's why it's hard to read.
- In the first nights the Lunarian switchten the diraction very fast when they saw an enemy.
- As I used my cursor to rotate some buildings. The cursor was still in the rotate mode after I stoped rotating.
- By the wood walls, sometimes some of the wood pillars in a wall were missing.
- All the katapults then they shot, they making very unusual explosion look and the screen of the PC turns white.
- The stones on the katapults are in flames already without research and sometimes they dont appeare in flames.
- The librarians and the workers from observatory are shaking very hard.
- I think his name was commander Icarus, one of his line's were glichty and it was like that but more complex: "\\gold"// and "\\wood//".
- In a cell it was shown that there were horses, but there are not and the opposite in another cell.
- A few of the shadows are changing when I want to place something.
- The shadows also moving fast.

Bugs:

- When I will command my entire army, they don't want to move and they are stuck.
- The troops don't want to go from one wall to another wall.
- Small holes make my tropps stuck on the spot.
- I can uprgade my castle already without more research.
- The Lunarian dosen't attack my sometimes.
- Arrows are getting stuck in he air from unfinished buildings.
- If the FPS lower then 4, every living entity (also Lunarian) gets 6 times slower, but not the time and there going in one direction only.
- In the time freeze mode, I hear movment sounds, but nobody is moving.
- Some towers and walls don't upgrade to stone.
- Troops sometimes can't get down from the tower.
- I can upgrade wood defense to stone without researching the skills.
- (I read it that you fixed gamecrashing) There are still random gamecrashes.
- A few times when I select only a group of troops, they woulnd't move either.
- The game also crashes when I'm building multiple structures in the time freeze mode.
- There was just one library with 400 knowlegde capacity, but I had the double of it.
- When everyone goes to bed, the satisfaction goes to minus.
- One time I selected a model from a wooden tower, later I couln't change it back and I could use 2 models from buildings at the same time.
- The troops can't move when there in the near of a closed gate.
- In night 7 or 8 Lunarian dosen't spawn and there are only the particles.
- Lunarian ran a few times in the opposite direction of the fortress, everthing was well.
- Wheat fields spawn very far when I trying to make a new world.
- I can place 2 sawmills in one cell.
- Sometimes it bugs when I have very low quality and Lunarian spawning.
- Ballista dosen't shoot sometimes.

Ideas:

- Making different paths for deco.
- Torches and light sources produce light. But it would be for very high quality only.
- A few little orc outpost.
- Multiplayer with 2 up to 4 player in a much larger map, with their style disign, no Lunarian, the players can trade stuff with each other and go make war.
- Large troops, just like the Lunarians have, maybe a building with hard training program or a building that mutats normal people into large troops. They can be seperated into large troops that have basket full of rocks to throw (they take more place on the walls and towers) and normal large troops similar to the large troops from Lunarian.
- And the troops who throw rocks can be also shown as an enemy.
- The torches in the daytime can go out.
- A famous trap is the beartrap, it's simple to make and can be placed each other.
- Citizens that looks more diffrent then the other.
- Holes with spikes can be a trap.
- As a Becastled loge it can be a very detailed sun and in the center are the important characters.
- Bosses could be a nice feature, like a realy large giant that moves extemely slow but destroys everthing very fast, the Commander, Champion, Queen, Necromancer and the Lunarian King as the final boss.
- Own very unique special troops like the three Bogatyrs, Merlin, Arthur, Robin Hood and more (there can be only found in rare game events).
- When the army of the final boss is defeated, summons the Lunarian King a dragon and rides on him ( on this day [so maybe 50 or 60] covers the moon the sun with deep drum music).
- As an easter egg and as an even rarer event, the headless horseman can come and make chaos. As a reward you can kill him get plenty of loot or recruit him.
- Healer, there are a must for Solarian and the Lunarian.
- Creating an own flag and naming the kingdom would be neat.
- The enemies could look also more different than the others.
- When the castel gets destroyed, the Solarian King escapes.
- The archers can ran away automatically from the enemy, wehn he comes near.
- Little Animation for just standing still, when they get bored.
- From the woods and the stones farming can come little pieces.
- Wall and tower deco.
- Machine idea: A katapult that shots multiple tiny rocks in random places and a multi shooter ballista that shots smaller but faster arrows.
- Iron walls and iron tower.
- Own stone gate slot.
- Citizen attribute with strenght, speed, knowlegde and etc.
- Social standing for the Solarian King, if he gets loved or hated.
- For observatory different worker style.
- Maybe making the game for Ps, Xbox and Nintendo.
- Buildings for profesionel builders (they build everything faster).
- Taming wild beasts.
- People having random names.
- Potato quality.
- For the walls when they on different high level, it would be good then there were a ladder or a staircase on the wall.
- When anything can be upgraded, the tiny picture should change too.
- Different climate like spring, summer, autumn and winter
- As an easter egg, troops can use hogs to ride them.
- There are only male people, it would be logical if there where female people.
- Upgrade for the walls and towers, like spikes that do damage when close combat enemies attack it.
- Trap idea: A puddle of oil that can set on fire from an archer or something else.
- The more progress the player has in the game, the more the story of he Solarian and Lunarian gets revealed.
- Maybe the look should change a bit as the troops level up.
- A special magic tower where the player can select which spell he can use, like meteor, spikes, tornado, freeze the enemie and so on. There can be only one magic tower and the tower has mana for he spells. The more the player upgrades the tower, the more mana or faster regenerates the mana for the spells.
- Playground mode, where the player create his own region, enemies, build everything he want’s without limits, enemie spawn and so on.

Thank you for such detailed feedback. I made some notes and the last 10-15 entries are almost all on our todo list actually.

My archers very often get stuck in towers or on walls. It is very annoying because the only way to fix it is to kill them and make more archers. I really wish they would fix this glitch!!!!

soldiers get stuck in towers. I say you better use stairs at walls until it is fixed. You can hold alt key to see the health bar of the stuck unit.

Since the update I had frequent crashes and the enemies just walk through the connecting corners of Walls and towers (wooden and palisades in my case)
