Celestial Empire

a little bit of a combat system is really necessary
I know I've already mentioned this, but I still want to tell you that a little bit of a combat system is really necessary.

I disagree. In my book Banished is one of a very few city/colony builder games that keeps me coming back and it has zero combat.

But after experiencing the demo version of this game, it's clearly inspired by Anno 1800, which had a battle system, and this game doesn't reach Banished's level of gameplay, which is why I say it needs to add a bit of a battle system.
I can see that the game's production team has great expectations for this game, and I hope it will be a success, so I have made suggestions.

I have to agree with Nick. If you want to see the real inspiration behind the game(I feel anyway), check out "Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom". Different people, different tastes and all that jazz.

Not every city/colony builder needs some rather basic battle system tagged on. In most of those games I end up quickly turning it off (if I get the option). It will never be in-depth enough to hold my interest.

Instead, they imho should focus on deepening the actual builder/logistics gameplay (and city painting aspect).

But so far, successful construction games of the same type, such as Anno 1800, including the Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom you mentioned, all have combat systems.

I understand you, but I am speaking from the perspective of hoping that the team can achieve the success of the game. I think the game can provide an option to turn off the combat system. If the game has a combat system, its sales will increase significantly. So far, successful construction games of the same type, such as Age 1800 and Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom, have combat systems. Of course, the actual builder/logistics gameplay is necessary

This is akin to saying if it had MP it would increase it sales. No poll ever showed this to be true and its just conjecture on your part. The amount you increase would be offset by the amount you lost. Itts a 2 sided coin, not 1.

You are right. However, the limited options and features will inevitably limit this game to a niche audience. I just hope this game thrives. Moreover, this game itself draws on Anno 1800, but it has much less functionality than Anno 1800. On this basis, how can it succeed?

Stop replying to me, I just hope this game can become legendary, enough features and options would be good. The responses I received seem to all hope that this game will become niche, okay. You guys are right.:steamhappy::steamhappy:
