What kind of Monk do you play?
I play a Shadow-Nature Monk, one of my friends plays a Warrior Monk, and another plays a Shadow Monk. It's obvious that serious players only play as Monks. What's your favorite Monk?

What you're discovering is the easy path that perfected soul gives, when focusing on min-maxing, it actually makes you miss some other good passives, as in it's not the best way to end game
Lightning monk with crit passives and bonus AP though :p

Shadow Monk with all the stat passives and HP passives and consumption + priest 40% stat buff & bless + soul crush = ok bye boss ty for coming to this short tedtalk.
Light Monk. The usual method with dual wielding Excaliburs. Pure Might from leveling, I mix in some Might/Holy Power/Dexterity/Crit Damage & Pure Damage (Abyssal Binding, for example) using gear. Arcane Headgear and Robes. Valler's Pocket Watch and whatever that one Light skill is called make it so I can use all of my skills every single turn. All of my gear is Tier III.

My Shield of Light can have up to like 180k Health and the only enemy I've noticed who can get around it is some random archer enemy that can remove your buffs (including Shield of Light). Whenever I see archers of any kind, I make sure to destroy them before the end of my turn. I'm on Endless 800+ so any damage to my Health would probably kill me anyway (I have like 8k, almost 9k Health).

For Fortunes I use Ymir's Might (obviously), Brawler's Brew (a lot of additional Might in exchange for being Blind; I have Purify so I can just remove that whenever I feel like it), Edwin's Enchantment (instead of probably the more popular True King) and Gift of the Conquered (for both additional Might and Dexterity). I figured Edwin's Enchantment just increased your Mana Cost and then changed the cost to Health instead of Mana, but it seems to give a power boost. When I hover over my Shield of Light skill for example, I get more health with Edwin's Enchantment equipped than with True King. There are enemies that drain or do damage to Mana and things like Seal of Salvation still drain Mana even with True King equipped, so to avoid stuff like that I use Edwin's Enchantment instead. My casting resource is constantly being kept up by all of my healing that I can throw out for truly limitless casting.

Sure, maybe not the best build out there but I've gotten to Endless 800+ at least. I'm aiming for 1k, then I may just stop bothering. Enemies already have glitched Health as it is. I like Light and I'm glad that Light is actually powerful in this game. I also like being a "generalist" so I'm glad Perfected Soul exists. Glad the devs allow us to make so many different OP builds.

Edit: Unless I'm mistaken, I also do like 500k - 600k damage pretty regularly. That's once for each Excalibur if I use a basic Attack, I get numbers like that with my healing skills too. I only have a 82% crit chance, so it isn't always though. 68% dodge chance, 100% dodge counter chance.
