For basic attack damage I recommend going into the warrior tree and grabbing the [Blood Drinker] passive that increases basic attack damage by 50% if you're going that route (if you're melee). It scales rather well with weapon damage, might and any modifier that's damage % or physical damage %.
If you're going for a ranger build I recommend Dex and Might gear and a nice mixture of Ranger and Nature talents for summons and extra damage while you're hexes away from enemies, or if you fancy a spell caster make sure to pick up gear that is appropriate for that type of Caster. Intelligence is quite nice for Cold, Lightning, Nature and Shadow characters (including their respective added damage and added damage % enchants on their gear), Might is pretty much good for everyone, but some builds stand out the most with it like Fire for instance or deep warrior.
I'm sure on the discord there are builds that others with way more experience than I can share, but this is my 2 cents of what works currently for me and I'm pushing Endless mode level 70+ with some tier 1, 2 and 3 gear on all 6 characters I'm using (Paladin build, Healer (Light) Build, Thief, Fire, Cold and Lightning builds).
Your characters aren't going to be beefy by any means at that level, and the game scales based on how many adventurers are in your party plus the difficulty selected so it's quite normal for fights to take longer the higher level you get.
Early game if you aren't in zones that are your characters' levels, you won't get loot for their level and you'll be getting low level stuff. That's about all that pops up in my mind.
Hope you continue to enjoy the game!
All the zones show the same level but are some better than others for gear?
You can google 'Stolen Realm Wiki.' There is a loot table for all gear that will provide location and mob that drops it.
