I just lost a lot of gear because I didn't realize it disappeared from your inventory when exiting out / swapping parties unless you put it in your stash -- I assumed that your stash was how you sent gear between parties. There should probably be something that explains that, since the stash works differently from similar games.

Unless this is a bug, in which case: that's a thing that's happening, and probably it shouldn't. It wiped out a significant amount of gold, too...

Update: The gear came randomly back after a quest, though the gold didn't. Definitely a bug.

The stash is shared among characters. Unless you delete the whole party it should remain even after temporarily removing people.

Gold is held by individual characters - whichever one picked it up in a dungeon or sold the loot. The buyer will also use all of their personal gold first. To pool the money back you need to add the character back to the party. And if you full on deleted that character their gold is gone.

Yes, the stash was fine. The regular inventory vanished and did not return when I went back to the original group (which I thought initially was the intended behavior, that the inventory was supposed to be temporary), but came back after I completed a quest with them. The gold also did not return when I went back to the original group, and stayed gone even after completing a quest with them.
