I have done the postwoman quest and found the horse. She says gunshots scared the horse and she will mark the map for where but theres nothing on the map. Any ideas if I am missing something or is this a bug ?

where abouts is it though i looked around the immediate area but didn't find anything other than the settlers camp around the hill

I believe you can't find it at the moment. But there is some nice loot near where you meet Granger.

so how many more well it be before you guys really start fixing thing's other then settlers just stand around and not working where you put them and also..I have 4 houses and hired one settler and big bug there, I go back to my town and the 1 settler I hiderd is living in all 4 of my house and well not go where I put them and not doing any work,, big big bug still..

I have never encountered this bug

If that one settler is Carter then you may have hired him several times. You could do that by clicking on the house a lot or several houses when recruiting him. This would likely have happened on an old save though.

Otherwise I don't know what it could be either.

However, if you share your save and the save snapshot folder with us, we can take a look.
