Frozen in time

Something strange happened. On the 19th of the game, time stopped. It's always 5 in the morning and the sun never rises. The temperature is always 0 degrees even in summer. Someone knows what's going on. I've already checked the integrity of the files and started a new game but the problem remains. Thank you in advance.

Hey there!

Just to have this out of the way: are you using any cheats, mods or trainers? They can lead to issues like that.

If not, have you already tried to verify the installation of your game with Steam? This checks for damaged or missing gamefiles and replaces them.

And if this does not help, it would be great if you could share your Saves folder with us. This includes your saves, player log and Savesnapshot folder. This way we can track exactly what happened and find out what is going on.

You did not read ADA's Letter before going to sleep!!!!!! The questline is stuck

I don't believe you can sleep in the straw bed without reading it. I know I tried before. Unless something changed about it. But definitely worth checking!

You are correct. you cannot sleep in the straw bed, but you can sleep in a bed or tent. That is the only reason you get stuck at 05h00 forever......

There are cheats out there that can freeze time (wanted or unwanted) as well. Hence the question. It has happened before. We don't judge, but it would be important to know.

Of course it is important, I was only referring to the only reason without cheats that I have found to be possible in the game....

I did read the letter. I'm on day 19 and the story did continued.

If you're on day 19, you've probably advanced a number of quests by now, including the main story. Have you finished the main story or is there still quests to be done on it? Can you interact with the world (cut down trees, mine stone, build buildings)? How about NPC interactions? Can you open the shop interface and buy and sell stuff? Is your cold weather gear protecting you? Did time stop while you were playing or did this happen after you slept and woke up (in game, not rl) :)

Thank you for quick answer. I dont use cheats. I've reinstalled the game and started a new game and everithing is normal. But when i load the last save, time is still frozen. I have 3 houses all ocupied with settlers and i slept in one ocupied bed :)))) Maybe thats the problem. I don't mind sharing what you need but as I said I reinstalled the game. And i dont know how :))))

Thanks everyone for the comments, gave me the suggestion that it may have something to do with sleeping in an occupied bed...

I'm on the quest to talk to the sheriff, but at night I fall into all the ravines, it's not easy to get there. :))) I don't know if there is any missing before...

Use a file sharing website like wetransfer. You can upload the files there and provide a link here.

Even with reinstalling the game, the saves and snapshots should still be there.

In your case, please send us the whole folder. It includes the saves, player log and Savesnapshot folder.
