Penance & Talk To Mercedes / Confront Sheriff Mission Problems

Hello

First of all, I love the game !

Im having two issues with missions at this moment:

1) Penance mission, where Im supposed to deliver some logs and other items to the Warehouse in Hope. I see only 1 Warehouse in hope, which is what I fixed earlier, up the hill, near the mine. When I go to that warehouse, I have no action option, I cant check the warehouse items and cant add any items into it. The marker on the map shows / points not at the warehouse, but points at Aaron, the sheriff helper, when I go to him, there is no dialog option to say anything about the mission, He Says "Ryder", and my only option to respond is "Goodbye".

So, how do I deliver items into Warehouse in Hope? How do I proceed with the mission ?


2) Second issue is with Talk To Mercedes and then Confront the Sheriff.

After I speak with Mercedes, I go to confront the sheriff but Aaron does not let me go through, he stops me and after all kinds of conversation optioins, he just tells me to wait... After this conversation with Aaron, my mission / quest status goes back to Talk to Mercedes...

I go back to talk to Mercedes, quest to-do updates to Confront the Sheriff again, and again I go to talk to Sheriff, Aaron stops me, quest changes back to Talk To Mercedes...

and Im stuck in this loop...
what do I do ? : )))

I found another topic about Penance mission and found that there is a different warehouse in Hope, right next to the Saloon, so I was able to complete that mission.

Im still stuck on the Confront the sheriff loop, can anyone help me please.

That is currently where the story ends. It's obvious that there's more to it but no one seems to be able to get past this point.

I am having the same issue too gone through all the options in the dialogue but just keep getting bounced back between the sheriff and Mercedes and cant finish it .

The answer was provided in Post #2. This is the current end of the story due to something wrong with the advancement coding. I'm sure they will announce when it is possible to advance the story past this point.
