I seem to have hit a dead end at "Search the Wagon". There is nothing to search except the chest and that chest I robbed yesterday after talking to Stanton and getting liniment. Am I missing something here?

Was there a recipe in the chest when you robbed it that you can identify? If not, you may have robbed the chest too soon and the recipe is quest dependent.

Yes and I have analysed it. The quest is still stuck at "Serch the Wagon"

If you're lucky the chest resets at season's start. Otherwise ... that'll teach you to rob people lol

We know, that's why it's an option not to be. Did season change help you? I have also passed it on and we'll see what we can do for existing saves.

Season change did nothing. I would not worry to much about old saves if that complicates the fixing effort. For new games I expect that there will be issues that are close to impossible to discover pre launch. I will just start fresh later when more of the identified problems has been fixed. Until then I will just stumble on with the old saves, ignoring the "dead end quest" messages - and keep reporting/questioning if I find new issues.

You need to put the agave and the chilipeppers you took from the wagon back in your inventory. You need one of each to make the cure.

I tried this approach. I also tried cooking the miracle cure (4Agave+1Chili) in hope that it with untangle the mess I made with my wicked thieving ways. No sucsess.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have put it on our bugtracker and hopefully there is something we can do for existing saves as well.

I also stole the items from the wagon and was stuck on the same mission as you. I had too much things on me so I put the stolen items in a barrel next to the saloon. When it said that I had to search the wagon I did,but obvious the wagon was empty. Then I went back to the barrel and put some of the things back in my inventoty. Agave,chilipeppers,snakeskin,beer,and suddenly the mission ticked. Perhaps you should try to put some of the others things back too, if you still have them. I`m not really sure which one of the items that ticked the mission for me, but I assumed it was only the agave and chilipeppers,since it was those two in the cure. I also thought it was a bug right away, but it worked out as soon as I started puting the stolen items back in my inventory.

I haven't played in a while but I remember the snake skin being important as snake oil is part of the recipe. Once you make the proper potion the quest should clear. It did for me anyway.
