Unable to place Bed

There is a quest for Owl to create a simple bed. After creation, you can't place it anywhere. Built a house from scratch and can't place any simple bed in it either. Any ideas or am I doing something wrong?

You are doing fine, don't worry. There is no need to place it. She should take it from you, but this seems to not happen correctly right now. However, it should not hinder your quest progress.

use "B" Button for building menu and then placing and choose the bed there.
i also had the bed in inventory after the quest. so i just used it like normal

Thanks for the reply. That quest (for Owl) was fine and I was able to progress. There is another quest, just after you build your own house (First Home) and after that the next one is place the bed in your house, which I am unable to.

then place how i said before :)

through inventory is not function to place, only through build menu
