Here is the link, female protagonist on the roadmap. But I don't think that roadmap is still valid, and they sure aren't willing to confirm anything at this point.

Hey there!

As mentioned in the New Beginning Announcement ( here ) the team is currently working on an update for the main story featuring a male protagonist. That doesn't mean that women won't play an important part, of course. It also does not mean that we will never be able to play as a lady. Time will tell. (Knowing the new story somewhat, I'd love to see the female side of it.)

Yup, female player went from being on the roadmap to time will tell. Main story features a male protagonist. If the female makes it into the game I'm guessing it will be on a secondary map similar to what was done with MD. No surprise there.

That decision hasn't been made yet. Besides, is having a complete additional new map and story (as MD got) really that bad? I found it pretty cool.

Sure, an additional map is cool, but that is not what so many people have been asking for, they want character creation including a female lead for the entire game, instead of it being a tacked on afterthought a few years later, isolated to one part of the map and separate story only.

Make sure to leave that feedback in the MD forum or the dev's Discord. If you try the latter, perhaps they can even share a little more why it was possible to add more content after the fact. ;)

MD is the only 1 out of 5 dynasty games that eventually got a female option. But someone posted here that the real reason for that additional map was for mp.

I don't have any interest in MD so would not leave any feedback on that forum, and I don't do Discord.

I checked out the forum for Vampire Dynasty and found a long thread on this same topic though, and as usual nobody has responded, and even if they did it wouldn't be a straight answer.

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood then. You mention it often, so I thought this might be something you would wish to share with the devs. They are always open to feedback and via their Discord is best. There they sometimes reply themselves as well. (When English isn't somebody's native language, people can get quite shy about it.)

The best way is to subscribe to the topic and the announcements. This way you won't miss any hints or Q&As.

Not only is the feedback on this forum, but there are threads on this topic all over the forums of every Dynasty game. The devs of every dynasty game, and Toplitz, are fully aware of what people want. Whether or not it ever happens is a whole another thing.

There is always a jump to be made between wanting something and being able to realise it. That is true for an additional main character as well as for many other things that might be amazing to have. Sometimes we all would like it, but it just isn't doable (at a certain point in time). The smaller the developer the more likely this is.

Anyway, remember you are always welcome to share your feedback. Ideally in the forum of the game it is for or the right Discord channel (if you use it). This is where the devs are more likely to read and perhaps even reply as well.

While we try to reply often, we cannot reply to everything, especially wishes for or questions about the future. Sometimes because it has yet to be decided, sometimes because it will remain a secret until a certain point.
