Check how much weight you are carrying. You are probably overloaded.

I have a different thought. Which version of the game are you currently playing?

It doesn't appear like you have it on Steam, Zarathustra, but other platforms also allow you to verify the installation. This will check for missing or damaged gamefiles and replace them. It will also check for updates.

If you are playing on a French keyboard, the issue could be related to problems with some keybinds in older versions.

Make sure you have the most up to date version and reset the keybinds to default once, to clear the settings. Then rebind as needed and try again.

Je joue sur Gog Galaxy.
J'ai essayé avec un clavier français mais aussi en clavier anglais. Sur le cheval le sprint fonctionne mais pas à pieds en marchant.
Je joue à la dernière version, j'ai désinstallé le jeu plusieurs fois et je l'ai réinstallé mais rien n'y fait, j'ai aussi vérifier l'installation plusieurs fois.

I tried with a French keyboard but also with an English keyboard. On horseback sprinting works but not on foot while walking.
I'm playing the latest version, I've uninstalled the game several times and reinstalled it but nothing works, I've also checked the installation several times.

I do believe Gog saves in the same location as Steam. Would you send me your save? This way we can check if the issue is something we can find on there.

Here you go:

1) You can find the folder that contains your savefiles and the player logs by following this path: C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Locallow\MPS\wwd

Please replace "YOUR NAME" with your name on your PC.

Alternatively, you can press windows key and the "r" key at the same time and add this line, then press ENTER or ok. It opens the folder you need: %localappdata%low\MPS\wwd

2) The saves end in .dat. The player logs are named: Player.log and Player-prevs.log

Make a copy of the right files and put it somewhere where you can find it easily.

3) Upload the copy of your save and/or logs with WeTransfer or another, similar platform.

Have you started a new game or loaded the same save?

If it happens on a new game, I think we can assume that the issue is not on the save itself.

Have you tried to reset the keybinds? And then binding them for your keyboard?

J'ai recommencé une nouvelle partie et j'ai reset les touches, rien n'y fait!
Le sprint fonctionne sur le cheval.

Just to be sure: which key are you using for sprint and which keyboard? I would like to try to recreate it exactly as you see it.

I'm using W and left SHIFT (the default settings) on QWERTZ (that's the German QWERTY version).

I only have my mouse connected, no other controller.
