Where is the Recipe Book?

Hi guys cant find the recipe book or anything. Please tell me where else to look. I did find some .

You get one book from your wagon, the one you crashed in. The second and third books are at the old guy's place where you got healed up. One on the table and the other in the closet.

You also get additional cooking recipes from Momma J. and if you place a house foundation you currently unlock a lot of recipes, just to be sure you get them.

Great thankyou I'm at that house now will look for it. I found a recipe but cant find it.
I was wondering why I cant cook a piece of rabbit straight on my campfie does it require a recipe?

no lol I picked it up still cant find it in my inventory anywhere. Now it's nolonger availabe on the table
reloaded my previous save and the book only allows for me to pick up. I cant read it nor find it.

I don't remember what that one is called but it should be either at the top of the inventory or the bottom (you may need to scroll up or down). When you find it click on it an a line of options will appear at the bottom of the screen with the letter key you need to press to read it

Ah found it finally I was using the scroll down but I have to actually pull the arrow down otherwise it doesnt move all the way down. Thankyou :)
Its under the small toolbox or lunch box looking icone for all items.

E for read it and nothing appeared or shows any text?

Another thing you can do is click and hold the last item and push up (or down) and release and the list will advance quickly.

I don't remember what each book teaches you but you learn how to cook rabbit and how to make knives and the pickaxe and I think something else. It's been a few days since I did those things. When you make a camp fire you will have a craft option and from there you get to cook the things you learn.

Talking to the lady who gives me free meals she teaches me three more recipies and can now cook roasted hare etc.

I have read 3 books. Are there any other books apart from these or will they be in updates?
Or do you need another book?

Ps: I'm playing the game in an internet cafe. I plan to buy the game when I get used to it.
I guess there is no possibility to purchase with monthly payments in Microsoft Store

There is mention of other books to come as the game develops but only three for now. How many in total is unknown at this time.
