Hunting n skinning

OK. How do you skin in the game. This game is similiar to Midieval Dynasty but far behind.
Anyway, got my bone knife, my bow. KIll 7 deers, interact n got 3 venison n so how do you skin for hide?

Getting a skin requires at least buying the skill associated with it. There's also some luck involved from what I've experienced. but Spotter is right. Skill first, then go drop some deer.

I have one point in skinning. Does only certain animals drop skins? I just killed a fox. With knife in hand, all i got was meat.

Yes. For certain animals you need a higher skill level and a knife in your inventory.
