how do I light the lantern

I have a lantern, but I can't figure out how to light it. I hold it up and nothing happens, it stays dark/

Equip it ina number slot, hold the lantern, then left-click. It might take a time or two.

What Winter said. But make sure it is Fueled. See White line/arc on lantern selected. If blank, it won't light, because no fuel.[/u]
