Re-Start the Game

Hi peeps! Have you ever wanted to rewrite your own story in Big Farm Story and start from the beginning? There is the option to reset your current game and play from the start all over again. Please be aware if you decide to do so, all your current progress is deleted and cannot be restored.
But let’s see how it works:
To start a new game, you need to go to your current game and open the journal by pressing J or the Journal button. Now just click on the settings tab with the cogwheel on it. Here you can find the button saying ‘delete player’. By clicking on this button you can delete your current save game and start the game from the beginning.

If we restart the game, do we lose all of the extra stuff we got from being beta users? The well skin, the unicorn pig, etc.?

Hi ladybugluver09! Thank you for your question. You won't lose these things as they are part of the bundle you bought and we would never want you to lose the unicorn piglet But you start with all that included from the beginning, this means your personal progress will be reset and you have to fulfil the quests and so on all over again! Hi again! We have to edit our answer to your question. Of course the content of the bundles you bought will still be there. However, the skin for the well was a gift in relation to an update and won't be there if you reset the game. We apologize for the confusion and please let us know if you have any further questions! Hi, I re-started my game and have found myself impressed with how it plays now compared to earlier in the early access. I think it's much better with the fact that you have to do the quests before you can even get to places like the town, i also like the fact the buildings are not there also until you are able to build them. I do think though that you should have a start a new game on the main screen and be able to keep the saved game rather than how it is now. I'm looking forward to how it continues to play and it becoming a full version, keep up the good work :)

I second the suggestion that there should be a save option, rather than overwriting the previous. I hate having to delete all that work. But love playing it from the beginning again.

I would love to have a second character without losing my "main's" progress. It would mean I could try out the end game updates as they become available but also have a character I can reset to experience starting afresh/different farm styles.

I'm waiting for the next patch to post my feedback in the other thread, but wanted to say this now. Super fun game, can't wait to see what's next, thanks for all you do!

I'm also interested in being able to play multiple characters at the same time.
Multiple members of our family want to play to this game but we don't want to share the same progression.
According to me, having one save is valid on mobile devices because it owns to one person, but is not valid on (family) home devices like PCs.
It would be nice to introduce multiple adventures support in a next update.

I agree. I love this game and would like to play through with two or more characters at the same time.
