How do i get a cow?

I finished all the quest up to entering the tunnel. Now the only quest left is getting 2 milk.
Who can give me a cow? My barn has the stall and the space to hold one but i cannot buy one from the pet shop.

Sam has a side quest rather early on that leads to unlocking your first cow. Best you check in her bear Ger tractor. :)

I got the sheep first before the cow. I think i may have been locked out of the cow quest now.

That would be very unusual. Please share is your Playername with the number as you can see it in the settings tab of the journal (cogwheel button). We can then look into the database to see if somthing maybe off.

Yes. My barn is level 2 and only have a sheep.

I have the same issue, i already had the sheep when I completed the quest to get the cow. I spent ages trying to get roof tiles to upgrade the barn and now i have, but the cow never appeared, it says i have space for another animal in the journal. I have the side quest Deja moo but obviously can't complete it. Should i just buy a cow?

Update: I upgraded my barn once again to see if the quest would become available. My barn is now level 3 using 1/3 space with a single sheep. No quest from Sam nor option to buy my cow from the shop. The only quest left for me to do is the get milk for Benny.

Hi juccy drumsticks! Have you already finished the quest 'Hungry Mouth to feed'. It requires you to make shreds, make animal feed and then talk to Jacob after that. Thank you in advance!

I am having the same issue of not being able to finish the cow quest, and I also finished the sheep quest first. I am also done with with the "Hungry Mouth to Feed" quest.

Yes, I had the spot for the cow unlocked and my barn was Lvl 3 with a sheep already living there. The quest seems to have reset itself after I quit the game and restarted. Thank you for the follow up!
