Wolf warriors seems far superior to regular warriors
I’m surprised just how strong wolf warriors actually is. Their attack cooldown is 1.1 seconds while regular warriors have 2.2, so wolf warriors attack 2 times as fast as regular warrios. Their damage with both upgrades reach 51 as both upgrades increase their damage and wolf tactics actually give 5 strength and not 3 as the tooltip say and wolfblades also increase damage despite it not mention that.

Their defense is not that much worse than warriors as they have 4 magical resistence and 5 armor with wolf tactics, while warriors have 7 armor after the upgrade and No magical resistence. They also only have the humoid defense type and not metalic like warriors so only dark attacks deal bonus damage against them.

They do have 500 hp and warriors have 590 with the upgrade but wolf warriors have life steal so they get back like 10hp per attack with they perform about each second so they probably No worse in that area either. They also move slightly faster.

The only advantage warriors actually seems to have is their short invulnerability with the second upgrade and being somewhat cheaper. But consider wolf warriors have over 2 times the damage output of warriors with probably equal survability which make them far more valuable than regular warriors.

Found the invuln to be much better, because that eats damage that would otherwise go towards units.
They are still attackable, last time I played and if I don't remember it completely wrong.

So they basically buff everyones HP for just being there by huge amounts (except when it's only AoE)

If you just using warriors to soak up damage, yes as the whole selling point about wolf warriors is their extremely high damage output which is something like 50% higher than Solar stardaughter against single targets, although that don't mean wolf warriors are better than stardaughters as they lack speed, area damage and have significantly less survivability.

I mean in that case then you can compare cost as well. Half the housing, almost half the cost and slightly faster production.

Yes, but here I used better in more like being straight up stronger on a unit to unit basis. Wolf warriors have higher dps than the signficantly more expensive solar stardaugther but that don’t mean wolf warriors are straight up stronger units while also being signficantly cheaper.

But why are you comparing a T2 to T3 unit?

I used that as a point to show just how high wolf warriors damage is. It can straight out outdamage a signficantly more expensive unit and probably beat it in a 1 vs 1 where the units are just left alone.

Warriors look pretty lackluster to me in comparison to wolf warriors but that I’ve wrote Why in the first post.

I normally use tribesmen as meatshields to protect your more expensive units such as warriors. Send them in the first line while your wolf warriors come behind to dish out the damage. Its quicker to build an army mixed of warriors and tribesmen instead of spamming warriors, they take a lot of gold.

Issue is there are lot of AoE damage in this game

That is a difficult thing to counter unless you spread out your army, which is hard to do in the heat of battle.

The game lacks formations which would help to spread out units.
