Video game developers do what the marketing experts tell them to do and their publisher rather than making games based on their passion for it. Just look at Bioware and see what happened when EA got them, they made the dumpster fire that became ME Andromeda, abandoned it and Bioware Montreal got closed. Then they made Anthem and the game became a disaster. EA is considering killing Anthem off acording to an insider report.
Then again, Bioware and the other studios brought it on themselves.
I highly doubt that Bioware will ever get a substancial renewal, least of all Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Back when Anthem released, people had a lot of hope for it because they thought that the Team behind Anthem, were most leads were would do better than the team that made Andromeda, a bunch of low skill contractors and Anthem became another ♥♥♥♥ up. Considering how many important leads and seasoned members Bioware has lost, i dont think that Dragon age 4 and Mass Effect 4 will be as good as the older titles.
Dragon Age 4 is already known to be a life service and will use Anthem's source code, which again is all the more reason to be pessimistic about the game. As for ME4, we dont know much other than the teaser but dont get your hopes high on this one.
Expect EA to crush your hopes to piece as they did before.
EA will decide this week whether to kill off Anthem or not, the latter is more likely considering that the leads Robinson, Derrah and irving left, hell, even Hudson, Bioware's supposed savior.
i dont think so origin cant do that kinda stuff idk
