How can I find my ME2 face code?

I've looked everywhere for it, and it isn't where people say it should be: on the squad menu, where you use points to level up.

I also opened my save file with gibbed's Save Editor, and the box for the face code in it is blank.

I'm using a ME2 (2010) save that imported an ME1 (2007) save to continue the game. I've loaded the ME2 save in Legendary Edition. I haven't found the face code in either ME2 (2010) or ME2 LE. Is there some way for me to retrieve the face code that's being used in either ME2 (2010) or ME2 LE?

Use the new Trilogy Save Editor[github.com].

You can download it from the Releases link on the right side of the page.

If I am not mistaken it shows face codes in all games.

Don't expect your original ME2 face code to produce the same face in Legendary Edition.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, it seems that doesn't find a face code for my save, either.

I'm guessing the face code would appear in the box titled Identity Code, if it was detected.
