Yeah, the app doesn't even let me in. I have messed with my accounts for days and EA won't let me play the game I bought. Honestly we should probably sue them into shutting this damn app down if it's just blocking people from playing at ALL. an app this bad should be criminal.

Did you try using the Origin launcher to login (pretty sure thats the name of the EA steamlike) ? Okay thats one more bloatware app on your computer but it might let you login into your EA acc.
Tbf i had to make a fresh account i couldnt get my old one to login, but it worked eventually.

BTW, at this point there's probably well over a hundred threads in this forum alone with recommended actions you can take. It would take you less time to search the forum than to rage against the machine.

dead pscae stutter remake does not require EA app but an EA acc. still better then another layer of drm or a piece of software that can cause problems.

waiting for them to drop the app the way bugthesda and 2K games did.

Nexusmods have custom simple launcher for MELE based on ahk script, which also allow to change the language of subtitles in a more proper way. There are also custom executables, which allow launch both 3 games directly without EA app. Look in the modding community and search the internet - there are plenty of solutions if you really bothered with EA launcher.

The EA app works fine. You have to have a modicum of common sense when you install it and create an EA account.

I'm convinced that people that don't know how to use another game launcher (e.g. EA app, Ubisoft Connect, etc.) should just get into console gaming.

The old Origin-launcher might cause trouble, if you have that installed.

The only real issue I've had is when my internet is down and the app doesn't want to switch to offline mode without being online first, after all this time, EA hasn't fixes such an oversight. Perhaps we need to start a petition to give it a feature like that, the old Origin app had it

The launcher is on the nexusmod (https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/46). You also might need blink bypass, which can be istalled with ME3 Tweak Mod manager (https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/2) or u can find it on GitHub and just do it manually.

As for custom executables, i need to find the forum links and since i have my build from 2021 i don't remember the original source. Also i can't post them directly here, since i guess it goes against some steam rules (under piracy or something). However you can ask for them directly, if you want.

Also make a backup of original game files. Custom launcher, same as Blink Proxy dll will overwrite the original ones.
