Yeah...that's the biggest drag IMHO. But--technically--not a fault of the Hammerhead! :-)
Edit: FWIW I never do that (those?) mission(s) any more because they're "Too. Much. Like. Work!"
On insanity, you need to abuse to fire from beyond their aggro range or use ramps to jump up and down and slowly kill them.
And even then sometimes you need to wait like 20 seconds so you recover armor.
So, combat is very boring, as Hammerhead can die in about 2 seconds if it is close, even while it is moving, as hitscan turrets demolish it.
Mako on insanity is much more fun and ironically, ME1 has much more projectiles you can dodge......
They could have made enemy DLC turrets shoot projectiles you can dodge, which would have been so much better and make combat more fluid.
I wish I could skip that quest, but when I start a Mass Effect play through my OCD tells me I need to finish everything XD
So far I've been abusing range mechanics and have been firing at the geth past their bullet drop off range. There is nothing engaging about the M-44 quest line. Going through it always feels like a chore to me.
Dude...just walk away. I mean...if the quest were in any useful way connected to the main story, that would be something else. But we both know it isn't!
We're playing these games to have fun. To be a distraction from the mundane, humdrum lives we otherwise live <eyeroll> Once they become a chore...well, you can fill in the blanks yourself.
(Insert your own joke about "Paychecks & Papers" or "Companies & Computers" here...) ;-)
