Stuck on Ea "Preparing game"

Was happy to buy the game on sale, was disappointed at the forced disgusting EA app... and the game literally doesn't work.

When I launch the game, EA App pops up to tell me "Preparing Game" and it goes on for a few seconds, disappears and the game doesn't launch.

Tried resetting the EA App, restarting it's services, etc. no luck

Same issue.
Launch the game in Steam, EA says preparing the game, and almost immediately says "The app timed out" "The servers took too long to do their server thing. Make sure you're connected to the internet, and try again."

Not even Offline Mode works, really EA? A Singelplayer Game which I can't play Offline?

It is porbably faster to download a Pirate Copy and install it, before the damn EA Servers are back online.

Same here with the error 10005 - also for those that can play, if you are logged in your are fine. Its the login process that is broken right now, but if you are in or get in its fine.

I think it's coming back online, again. At least I was able to login to the EA app.

North America, I was just able to launch ME2 after a few hours. Looks like we're back up over here. Restarting the EA App may be required as i was prompted to do so

Just tried it, still not working. This is why there shouldn't be online elements for single player games. especially games this old

If the app fails a number of times or something you can launch the game offline. Not sure what prompts and if it will mess up cloud saves.

This is proof enough that EA App = Always Online DRM

that's much worse thant Denuvo DRM.

Ya he presentado una queja está tarde y entiendo perfectamente que no se me reintegre el dinero por exceder el plazo, realmente no necesito el reembolso, no me voy a quejar por menos de 10€, pero deberíais controlar mejor la mierda de apps externas (en este caso ea) que nos obligáis a instalar, funcionan como el ojete y os hacen quedar mal.
