controllers

says full controller support, but for me my ps4 controller does not work at all, its as though the game does not support it at all,, can anyone help or give me some advice on how to fix this? thanks

i'll chjeck on my install, however i'm now getting a "not installed when the oprigin launcher loads"

Try launching through steam bug picture so that the game uses steam input. I don't think the game natively supports PS4 controller.
I use Xbox One controller and have no issues whatsoever.

steam bug picture? dont know wot that is, im quite new to pc gaming, but thankyou anyway i have a old xbox controller somewhere so ill give that a try

Top left of steam > View > Big picture mode

Its so its easy to use steam on a tv with a controller, activate that and it MAY help with the PS4 controller issue.

Play on the PC with mouse / keyboard.
Yes more expensive .. but better. WITHOUT HANDICAPS.
(Gamepad players don't just need aiming aids .. LOL)

lol,, yes but ive always been a console gamer, so just used to controllers,, just cant grasp the keyboard and mouse play, all fingers and thumbs,,lol,, maybe in time when i get used to gaming on pc,,

Don't worry I also play every PC game with a controller, if possible. M&K is very cumbersome when sitting on your couch...
Also: you'll be able to beat any k&m player in fighting-, racing- & jump&run game, as long as ur good enough!

Go to Big picture -> Cogwheel in the upper right corner -> Controller settings and choose ur configuration. Btw I'm using generic gamepad and for me it doesn't work in launcher, but does work in games, maybe you'll run into that problem too.

btw everyone, thanks to all, especially Kron as i found an old xbox controller and it worked straight away,, thank goodness!! must,nt have liked my ps controller!, lol,,but anyway thankyou to the steam community for being so helpfull, friendly and supportive,, thanks to all!!! :)

I can't get any controller to work, buttons mapped wrong, left stick backwards. Totally unplayable with gamepad

Can you not configure it in the steam settings? Or when you right click the game, go to properties, and then controller?

How is using m&k more expensive ?
You need those two anyway to use your PC lol.
