Best sniper rifle for mass effect 1 (this is just my opinion and I’m playing on normal so keep that in mind)

So recently I’ve found a really REALLY good sniper rifle to use,if you don’t mind only being able to fire a few shots before it over heats. The sniper rifle I’m referring to is the HMWSR X, now the sniper rifle on its own is powerful but I’ve found out that with High explosive rounds IX (possibly a little lower too), combat optics IX, and a kinetic coil X, this sniper one shots almost everything (except for gets armatures and a few others) I fire one shot at an enemy no matter where I shoot it,they’re dead in one shot and high explosive rounds also have a blast radius so it’ll sometimes hit other enemies

I forgot to mention that you’ll wanna be the infiltrator class with a good if not max amount of points into the infiltrator skill and a good bit of points in the sniper rifle skill

I don't think anyone is going to disagree that the best sniper rifle in the game is the best sniper in the game....lol

I'm just messing with you. I always play the same way. Get to the Citadel, Do the Dr Michel vendor money cheese to get 1 million credits, get the level 7 spectre Weapons, only use them until level 50, get the level 10 spectre Weapons.

I love the Black Widow, almost as strong as the normal Widow but with 3 shots and a sleek look, and the HMWSR is like a proto black widow.

Be level 50... Or 26 LE mode and complete Virmire....then it's at Csec vendor.

Currently playing Infiltrator on ME1, only ever played it in ME3. While I know that all the HSW X weapons are the best of it's kind, the combination of weapon modifications is interesting enough ^^

Yes. When you become a Spectre head down stairs to the C-sec retrofit turian. Then buy the license from him. Then you need to level up to very high level to have a chance to buy this thing.

It's a late game spectre master gear sniper rifle. So, C-Sec requisition officer at about 25-ish level(legendary leveling) or 50 level(classic leveling.

Wait until ME3...that game easily has the best weapons.

Best sniper set up for me

Soldier + Indra + Adrenaline Rush + Inferno Burst Ammo.

Infiltrators may have more damage per shot but soliders can wipe out an entire room in the same amount time it takes an Infiltrator to kill one target.

I got it from the Normandy shop, I don’t know when I did but I know it was before or after I purchased a license lol

Sorry I didn’t give very much info on where and how to get the sniper, I wasn’t thinking about adding it at the time and I’m having a bit of trouble remembering when I was able to purchase it opposed to when I actually got it
