New Patch Broke My game

So before the patch I was playing flawlessly no issues whatsoever... after the patch.. game wont launch at all, re-validated the steam files rebooted all failed, please i know there is a simple fix for this but i cant seem to remember how to fix this issue can someone assist?

I read somewhere that if you have a headset or a microphone plugged in it won't work for some people. Not sure if that'll help at all but it's something

Same here, crashes to desktop after the Bioware logo.

Had the issue before the patch. Fixed it by allowing the app in my firewall. Well, here we are again!

I can't load my ME2 save I started, every time I try it just boots me to the launcher

I'll add my name to the list. Can't load any of the three without crashing. Can't even get to options screen. They really broke it this time!

Same here I played all of ME1 and started ME2 last night. had no issues till after i got home today after an update now i get a black screen and it says not responding when i launch a game.

After completing ME1 with no problems, starting ME2, at some point the game crashed (Omega).
Before launching the game I see the update, download it, but since then when launching a game, it crashes instantly and I go back on the launcher...

- Tried with and without headset plugged (restart Windows between) NOK
- All drivers up to date NOK
- To try (saw it on a reddit post):
Open Windows Control Panel -> Region
Go to the Administrative tab and click Change system locale
Check Beta: Use UTF-8 for worldwide language support (did nod test yet)

If anybody solves it let us know <3

Same here, played through all of 1 and like 40-50% of 2 with minor crashes in ME2 here and there. Game crashed, patch downloaded, game no work now. I've tried:

-verifying the game
-uninstalling/reinstalling Origin and Steam
-uninstalling/reinstalling the whole game

[Open Windows Control Panel -> Region
Go to the Administrative tab and click Change system locale
Check Beta: Use UTF-8 for worldwide language support (did nod test yet)

If anybody solves it let us know <3

Also worked for me! 4 hours of troubleshooting and this was the solution!!

after downloading it,, had two updates and now wont go to the launcher when you click play, it shows it is running for a bit then the play button lights up again

having this issue too, what fun. it's a good thing i finished at least one of my 2 me1 playthroughs so i can probably just play original me2 if this takes forever to fix

the game started working again after giving QTX's suggestion a try

I tried this and it still wont launch for me sadly.
