No discounts for owners of the old version of TRILOGY?
I bought all three games in Origin and all add-ons to them. It was a long time ago :) I also expected that EA and BioWare would somehow reward the old fans of the MassEffect series. But what I am offered by already purchased games for full price is disgusting.

OMG! Then don't buy it! We really don't need another one of those threads.

If you were buying a bundle for those games, you would get a discount. These are remastered games, and thus they are another product. It is very much expected to say that owning the original trilogy would not give you discount. Fair? Debatable.

But there was no expectation that owning the original would discount the remasters.

If you own ME3 on steam you get a discount on MELE..

Then don't buy it. Complaining about it is a waste of time - or just indication of your inability to budget.

Wait for a discount like every other sane person.

Keep in mind you likely spent more than 60 bucks on the original games as you had to buy/pick up all the DLC's and Skins and what not.

This is a one shot - get it all thing.
Try to put some effort into your thought process before you start screaming again.

I get where you're coming from, really I do. I have all the games and DLC, on both Origin and Steam, so buying LE really feels like triple dipping at this point (quad-dipping if you count Xbox).
Just remember you did say you bought them a long time ago. So as value goes, you've probably gotten your moneys worth already (I know I have).
So at the end of the day, I don't mind buying this full price to play the games again in remastered form. I've played through the games with ALOT before already, so its fun to see what the devs did vs the modders.

Fans of the game have been screaming for something like ME Legendary for a years. They always followed it up with 'Take my money'
I can't have seen EA ever contemplating doing this if it wasn't for the constant pressure from the games fans.
So to ask for a discount on something we have been begging for is somewhat cheeky. Instead we should be saying 'Thank you for this and here's my money with appreciation. '
You know, they could have asked double what they are asking and fans would still have snatched it up without question.
BTW: I too have all the games plus DLC on Origins.

You expected EA to reward old fans? EA? Like really it’s EA that should of been the tip off you were not going to be rewarded then and there.

Just hang tight. Like any software it will suffer a huge depreciation in value, it will go on sale and then you'll have it for cheap.

I will answer only to you, because only your comment is more or less adequate. In my country, games are not essential. And I don’t have extra money for a product that I once bought. I just played TRILOGY with graphic modifications. The current developers of BioWare did not bring anything fundamentally new, except that they worsened the Miranda model in accordance with the new requirements of the SJW community and removed the control with the mouse + keyboard. So-so changes, let's face it. Therefore, a discount for work done not in the best way is a fair demand, I think.

Nope. You just have to be patient and wait for a sale if you want a discount. Shouldn't be too difficult for you since you already own the old ones.

It's what I'm going to do.

Uhm... not to be *that* guy, but all those claims are false. Miranda's model was not changed, a single camera angle was changed, specifically this one: https://i.imgur.com/T7Bej2c.png . Mouse and keyboard support was not changed. The changes they *do* propose are HD textures, some balancing, and bringing ME1 to a more playable standard.

are these changes worth $60? Alone? Ehhhh maybe not. If I had previous versions of these games on pc, I wouldn't have bought this at full price.

Should remasters of games give you a discount for owning the original? Ehh, not really imo, but I do understand where you're coming from. It feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful to see an upgraded version, however slight, not worth its price-tag when you already bought 95% of the content.

What powerful words you say to someone you don't even know. I am seriously ill and I do not know how long I will live at all. Every day I live like my last. time is the most precious thing I have. And I am very glad that you are sure that you have more of it and there is no need to rush to live.

Dude... They didn't change Miranda at all (maybe her hair a bit? not sure) and they didn't remove anything for kb/m... You don't even know what you're talking about lol.

Miranda's model In ME2 was absolutely changed...

lets do the math original versions on release 60.00 =180.00,DLC at least another 100-150.00 legendary edition 60.00 seems like a deal to me.
