LE Vs ALOT Nexus Mod

If you own the original games and you're focused on the graphics and want THE SAME result, just go on nexus and download ALOT mod for each game. Same textures enhancement. By the way there are other useful mods to take into consideration (the following are just for ME1):

Faster Elevators : Does what the title says

Improved Controls and Less Bounciness : Makes using the Mako actually enjoyable

ME1 Recalibrated : Unofficial patch for ME1

No Intro Videos : No Bioware intro video

Screenshot Mode : Add keybinds to freeze the game and toggle the fly cam. Works well with ALOT, zoom in and drown in the high resolution tide

Asari Remastered : Beautiful retexture of Asari skin. Strays quite a bit from the vanilla style, so up to personal preference

Again I think the developer has used some of these mods since the final result is absolutely the same.

Modded OG games are NOT better than the LE version, not visually, and not gameplay wise. They redid the entire 1st game so that the world can be presented with a much more complete appearance compared to how it used to be. Slapping some textures on certain aspects and shouting that its the same so no one should bother wont change the reality that the LE version of ME1 alone is worth the $60 they're asking. I say this because after so many years and so many replays of the trilogy, ME1 finally feels CONNECTED to the other two titles in so many more ways, and it no longer feels like a terrible tedium to slog through. The gameplay is actually fun, the visuals don't feel 'dirty' and now I can actually SEE the world surrounding the characters instead of trying to just make it all up in my head. Stop slinging around texture mods as being the equivalent of this package and go try actually playing the game.

Don't care what you say, facts remain facts. Developers have to limity themselves because if they push graphics too high they would reduce their target audience. So, graphics of stock games will always be mediocre.
Modders, however, don't have these issues and therefore the quality is ALWAYS higher.

A good example of this is the guy who made the 4k textures for witcher 3 that were so good that CDPR contacted him to work with him on the remaster.

This might sound like denial on my part and rationalization of having paid a full price for LE, but I trust BioWare's remaster decision and the convenience of the whole package. Besides, if I refund LE now, they might have less money to remaster Dragon Age: Origin

The LE version does a lot more than faster elevators and Asari skin texture.

And also, stop getting so invested in how random people spend their money, it's creepy.

I noticed ALOT is SIGNIFICANTLY better when it comes to characters' face textures. But for everything else LE is better. If ALOT comes out for LE it would be amazing

Jesus who ever did that video editing is absolute trash at it.
Why are they flipping through the 3 while the camera is zoomed in and moving constantly...

Anyways, I played the series just recently with ALOT textures and it definitely doesn't beat this version.

Prior to release when comparisons were being made it looked what ALOT did fix was way better in a lot of areas (still is in some) but now that the game is fully out this easily beat it.

I hope people can drop the whole 'modders did it better' crap now because this version of ME as a ME megafan is a lot better overall I feel. I'm upset with some of the cuts and changes but they are minor and were never a big issue.

As far as the censorship crowd goes... I can still punch the reporter and there is still lots of alien racisms so the whole 'woke' crap isn't really there and neither is censoring since there are still butt shots along with sex scenes. lol

Honestly, I expect a texture mod with hundreds if not thousands of texture improvements to the LE in the coming weeks. I believe ALOT will be redesigned or built again from the ground up to work with LE along with the No Minigames Mod and an EMB or three.
