Help selecting bonus talent for Soldier and Vanguard?

Which of these bonus talents are best for the Soldier and Vanguard classes in Mass Effect 1?

In Mass Effect 1 you can unlock the biotic and tech bonus talents with 25 uses (though some need to be used on targets, while others don't) and the weapon talents after clearing the game once.

Disregard my last. I haven't played ME1 in a very long time.

I would go electronics.

Throw to knock big things over that like to charge you.

Electronics are good, because they give you shields. Barrier is good as well, but it's not a bonus power for Vanguard.
