Anyone else having problems with stutter in ME1 ?
I've nvme, 9900k, 2080ti, 32GB RAM, so this game should not be a problem, but for whatever reason I get noticeable stutter when panning around with camera. Also on Citadel fps tanks from 144Hz to 80s in certain areas and GPU/CPU usage remains very low, nowhere near 100%. I'm only 1hr into the game, so no idea if this fps/stutter remains for the duration of the game or it's just at the beginning.

I also get framedrops and stutter, especially on the Citadel. This was already the case with the original PC port, so it doesn't seem like they have done any optimization to the engine in this remaster.

ME1 was the main reason why I bought the game as that one is the oldest and was in need of optimisation/texture upgrade. Had I known they haven't fixed the stutter/fps drops I wouldn't have bought the game. Bought it on Origin so no way to refund unfortunately.

Yeah. On the Presidium, I'm getting framedrops and stutters. Also while exploring on the Mako on planets. Not sure if it's my GTX 960 2GB, but everywhere else I'm a solid 60fps on 1080p.

Win 10 64 Bit
Ryzen 5 2600
16GB (4GB x4) 2666Mhz
GTX 960 2GB
250GB SSD (Game installed on this, not on my hard drive.)

I am exactly in the same situation.
Disabling overlays or VSYNC don't change anything.

Only way to completely get rid of it is to play at 60hz/60fps it seems. This game has been designed for consoles in mind. PC port is poor, as usual.

stutter happens to me too after more than 2 hours without close the game. disable overlay does improve it but didn't solve the issue.

However, my latest change test may work, at least my last more than 2 hours play session seems fine. Here is what I've done:

- My mouse has a game controller hardware registered in OS, I disabled that.
- Add this game's launcher and ME1 as "High Performance" in Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphic Settings (I'm using another language, I don't know how English say it). It's under the same page of "Hardware Graphic Schedule" settings.

Before posted this I updated my nvidia driver, I'm not sure if it will make it better or worse.

Find this on reddit. Try to rename igo64.dll from origin install directory(C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\ by default). Worked for me. It's really disable stupid origin overlay. Idk, not a first origin game with those problem, but ea seems doesn't give af.

updated my nvidia driver

It seems my previous reply works. I played about 4 hours after that and stutter doesn't happen again. So I believe one of them or all of them solved the issue.

THIS worked wonders for me still some Stutter but forcing Vsync through Nvidia with this helped to make it very playable ! Thank you.

This absolutely worked for me. Thank you! Also worth noting that in my Nvidia control panel settings I also changed power management to "Prefer maximum performance" which I had set previously but had somehow changed during a driver update.

Just search for "Graphics setting" in the Windows 10 start bar, and browse for the game EXE.

i only get frame rate issues on the uncharted worlds. everywhere else is fine.
Its almost as if the game was optimised perfectly for all the major (story) hub worlds but then all the uncharted ones where its entirely side quests (some of which are monotonous) they just couldnt be assed.
