1 hour to unpack

What the hell, it takes almost 1 hour to unpack the game? what's the point of preloading the game then!!! F you EA

Preloaded yesterday ... unpacked it... and then update startet... 0/93 GB... checked local data in the properties is says 0 GB while there are already 102+ GB in it... my steamlibary on that hdd now has 200+gb in it only from mass effect 102 gb in common and 102 in downloading ....

something is really wrong here... and my internet is only 15GB per h so anyone has a solution? I dont belive the 93 are really the day one patch.

3 hours to unpack at 80% now with ssd, i9 processor and 32g memory... its not the system... i dont mind waiting, ive waited a long time to play another hour or so is not going to phase me. It does seam ridiculous however to be taking that kind of time to unpack a game that you pre-loaded. just my 2 cents worth.

took like two minutes for me even with the ridiculous ea/origin launcher.

I have been unpacking for over 4 hours now and still only at half way.... How do you fix this?

I have no idea what happened. I preloaded the game, and downloaded the update. Game seemed to unpack with no issue, and now all of a sudden it is installing the entire game again? wtf?

If it's any consolation mine keeps bouncing between 1 hour to 10 days and 12 hours...
I've already waited 4 hours whilst it downloaded.

Just checked, we're up to 1 year now.
