Insanity difficulty
Have a few questions about insanity difficulty as it has been awhile last I played this.

!. Does it change anything other than health and power values of enemies? such as timed events, missions, loyalty, or requirements for upgrades/ weapons?

2. Any tips on class choices for a play-through on this difficulty would be great.

difficulty is almost certainly just enemies having more health and doing more damage.

In ME1 basically only health and damage is changed. In ME2 and 3 the difficulty also determines the protection layers of enemies, like on normal only "elite" and special enemies have additional protection, while on insanity basically every enemy has protection. It changes how you can use powers, because different protection reacts differently to different powers.

Basically just more bullet-sponging, nothing interesting, tho in ME3 you can turn Garrus into turrel and just lay back :D

ME1 does this as well. Enemies will have shields that don't on the lower difficulties.

Also all 3 games will scale above the player level and enemies will use their powers alot more.

The Typhoon and Kaidan, James and Garrus are truly beautiful in Mass Effect 3. 'chef's kiss'

I'll say this. Insanely difficulty is extreme, previously wasn't possible to start me1 with insane difficulty, but now will be in legendary edition, but, I do not recommend it. I will play in insane difficulty after finished me1 doing everything I can and lvl 60, then I will start a "new game+"(because the weapons lvl and skill points max out) with the same lvl 60 on insanity, after that, using the save of the second playthrough in me2 and me3, all in insanity.

One time I lost one save game in me2, in shadow broker DLC, when you are helping Liara you need to take down a female Asari specter when you reach the garage of the apartments, you will be fighting words of the enemy, OMG, that was crazy, I probably died over 300 times before gave up the save file. I was an infiltrator, and one major problem with this class was, there's little ammo for snipers, now they fix it, and I will be Infiltrator again. Insanity, in ME1, is probably the hard one.

And one more thing, as I said, is extreme, be prepared to stay fighting in every encounter for minutes, every 3 or 5 enemies you will need minutes to kill, for me1, doing every mission is about 18-22 hours, in insanity will be probably double of that.

As FEZ. TF7 Said, I will do the 1st play in hardcore one ME1, and start the second in insane, because the lvl of weapons and all skill max out, but when I'll import this second play in me2 and 3, I will alredy with high lvl and many skill points to use, doing this will be more mach to fight the AI.

Shields in ME1 don't have the same importance as in ME2 and ME3. For example, shields effectively block biotic attacks in ME2 and 3, while in ME1 they don't.

True, but it still adds a extra protection layer to them.

Damn, I felt this, only I had to give up my save in ME (literally on my 1st walkthrough). Out of all classes I picked a damn engineer and after saving Liara I thought that it's too much of a hassle to go back and start over with another character... Long story short, Benezia wiped the floor with me, as well as Shiala with Torianin did.

One of the few things that can be annoying on the higher difficulties in ME1 is the Immunity ability some enemies use. That and Thresher Maws assuming their damage hasn't been altered.

In ME1 do everything you can on the citadel before venturing out just to level up a bit, it will make the start of the game a bit more easier

In ME2 there's a few things to make the game easier

1 take Barrier as a bonus power, makes the difficulty irrelevant
2 Save Morinth instead of Samara so you can get Dominate on two characters
3 Take Tali on missions with synthetic enemies for her AI hacking

ME3 is easy being as you start at level 30

.Yep. Against that spectre the most effective class seems to be the same as her - vanguard. Also, Stasis really helps, because she gets down for a few seconds when stasis wears off.

difficulty has no effect on anything story related and if the LE hasnt changed anything balance-wise, Adept class is still king in ME1, Singularity, Lift and Throw are just broken in the first game (and get later "balanced" by needing to strip enemies of shields and armor first in Me2 and 3)
