Geth Shotgun

So im playing an insanity play on all 3 games and, so far, 2 is definitely more challenging than 1. I cant remember if theres upgrades to ammo capacity in this game but is there a way to get the Geth Shotgun have more rounds? Its my saving grace atm for bulky enemies... even better than heavy weapons vs some stuff.

Each weapon type has several damage upgrades which must be found or bought, as well as two miscellaneous upgrades which are automatically unlocked for research after obtaining two or three damage upgrades. Shotguns get shield piercing after two damage upgrades and ammo capacity after you obtain three damage upgrades.

There is an armour piece that allows you to carry more ammo, but it doesn't increase the amount loaded into the gun, so you still need to reload at the same rate, just more shots before running dry.

And it only helps you, can't be given to your companions.
