Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition is so bugged it is not even funny.
I think at this point I played Mass Effect 3 more than 10 times. Did a couple of playthroughs when it released and once every 2-3 years since then. I finally got around to playing the "Legendary Edition" and it is the first time EVER (and I played the game without even the patches they released BACK IN 2012) that quests are bugged due to retarded AI not spawning properly, like in this screenshot.

https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/2366166697354163724/062FEAE21874D3A5BF3E341681E2C0A217498CFA/?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false

I had to reload the game already 5 times, sometimes I got lucky enough that the enemies showed a bit through the wall which usually means my companion can hit and eventually kill them with the powers.

I really hope Bioware disbands after the failure Dragon Age inevitably turns out to be. All of their talented team left so there is not point to dishonor their legacy any further by whatever diversity hire manages the studio now.

hmm, never experienced any bugs in me1 or me3... the only bug i always get is in me2 when there is a weird camera glitch where shepard is going in a different direction from the crosshairs... but that was the same bug when i had ps4...

Bugs I had for ME (LE):
ME1 - my last playthrough, but NOT any of the previous FIVE playthroughs I stopped being able to move on the Tram (Noveria. I was going to the peak to see Deanna Troi)

I reloaded a save BEFORE the tram and it got sorted out. Oh, and a similar issue right after that where the test creatures got stuck under the floorboards. Had to reload that too. These are known issues since the original game came out.

Also, the final battle with Saren my screen kept freezing pink and I had to restart about five time and I got through it. Not sure if that was a MOD issue or not. I think non-modded games had that.

(the PLANETS that you dropped down to in the Mako were also poorly optimized and the FPS would just plummet at times. I believe it's a CPU bottleneck for me with my Ryzen R9-3900x. Traversal loading stutter?)

ME2 - super dark blacks... I "fixed" that by disabling DOF in Gamerconfig.ini

ME3 - I had really bad JUDDER/STUTTER in the Citadel, but it's mostly gone probably because I got a GSync monitor and a better graphics card. (i.e. I went to the Embassy and I suddenly had 30FPS. Then I alt-tabbed out of the game and back in and it was a locked 60FPS. Weird.)

I can't remember having any other issues in ME3.

*All in all it's mostly a non-issue for me. I'm playing with an RTX4070 and can mostly maintain a locked 120FPS at 4K which really helps the bad aliasing in the ship. My mods are pretty minor.

Thanks for the inputs guys, I never had any problems with ME1 or ME2 (LE), though I played them some time ago and if there was something I forgot it :D
I am not using mods. Only mod I wanted was "holster weapon" in ME3 but apparently it does not exist
I am sure there are issues and I am sure I had a few, but nothing so bad I had to reload multiple times or abandon a play through. I can't even remember the last time I had a problem in any of the ME games.

You can HOLSTER Shepherd's weapon only with the "back button" on the controller and whatever the KEYBOARD equivalent is. The other characters keep their weapons out. you probably know that.

I looked up a "holster weapon" mod but it isn't something you'd want. They seemed to say there was some issue with making auto saves every time you did it or whatever. Anyway, I'd say the game developer would have had to do that themselves.

*HDR*
I just remembered that I recently bought an HDR monitor and the games looked like crap. I have only an "HDR400" monitor but didn't realize you can't turn off HDR in the monitor settings. Maybe some can, but my LG monitor has no option to do so.

So if HDR is enabled in a game it gets automatically enabled on my monitor.

So even when HDR is off in WINDOWS 11 as well, all three games default to HDR being enabled (a pop-up on my monitor shows up when it turns on). You have to go into the GAME SETTINGS to disable HDR. It's in there somewhere.

CALIBRATION MENU?

Anyway, if you don't have an HDR1000 or better monitor I'd recommend turning that off in all three games. AND do the "DOF" fix. I don't know if you need the DOF fix if your HDR is good (i.e. OLED) so you'd have to experiment.

When I played through, I didn't get that bug in ME2 or 3, but I did get it somewhat frequently in ME1.

ME2 had some bugs that weren't present in the original, too. There was at least one point where an enemy that had to be killed got knocked down in a place impossible to reach couldn't get up, softlocking me.

ME3 I didn't notice any significant bugs apart from that one that's always present where higher FPS makes your shields recharge slower.

Yeah its actually pretty bad, the voice delays when in conversations are very jarring.

"different direction"
Oh ya, I forgot. In ME1(LE) on rare occasions Shepherd got locked into not moving correctly. I can't remember the specifics. I believe it was the same as mentioned. I'd try to walk forward and he'd go sideways. Heh.

And in ME1(LE) a few times one of my characters didn't follow me into a firefight. Like the garage on the way to the peak at Noveria where you fight some Krogan and Geth. In fact, they would only appear after I got to the next loading area.

And in ME1 it got annoying sometimes because my other guys wouldn't lock into where they were supposed to and got themselves killed.

It's weird because I played the Legendary Trilogy five times through and it was pretty hit and miss on whether I got some of these glitches.

(In SKYRIM, I've got HUNDREDS OF HOURS and many restarts and only just now got the first Dragon skeleton manifesting in Whiteruns door. Same issue from 2011 so not even Unofficial patches can fix that I guess. And the Giant you kill on the way to Whiterun had his weapon float up into the air. I left and came back 20 minutes later and it was still going up... I then learned the "disable" comand to make that stuff disappear for good.)

Yeah I ran into multiple glitches like that. Also the video lag, the stuck bugs, etc. I thought it was just because ME1 was an old game, but it continued into ME2.
