Should i buy the standalone games or this version?

i want to play ME 1,2,3. I read the description that this version includes those 3 games, if so is it worth it or just buy those standalone?

If you want to mod MELE is the best choice. Among other things this edition has a newer graphics API which made modding significantly more stable.

Also it is much easier to transfer saves from LE1 to LE2 (mass effect legendary 1 to 2) than the original mass effect 1 to mass effect 2. Since all three games are now basically one, so its done automatically. In the original versions you had to exit the game and port the save. Less stressful, and easier to play.

they've really added some nice QoL improvements that you'd expect in modern game--especially ME1. Ridiculous bugs like infamous Noveria black boxes are squashed with no need for mods. In addition, ME3 multiplayer is now defunct--which was kind of a big part of the single player campaign. They've redesigned ME3:LE to be played with absolutely no multiplayer so the build-up of your military readiness is much more natural feeling.

There isn't really a point in buying the standalones instead of the legendary edition especially with the sales lowering the price to almost nothing, I'd say get the legendary :)
